Today we have different types of writing, from reading books to news articles. There are so many different types of writing, according to Google, writing is ” the activity or skill of marking coherent words on paper and composing text.” Yet people write for so many different reasons and many ways, many people use writing to express our thoughts and creative ideas, people can use writing expand on their ideas and thoughts to help bring them to life, with writing a person can use their imagination to create and bring their writing to life.
The words we write create so many unique stories and articles, etc. there’s no limit to what you could do with writing. A writing can perform poorly and not as successful as others, there are so many ways a writer can be successful as an author it can be hard to find success, sure you might publish a book and feel success until you see no one bought your book, or it didn’t receive as much attention as the last one.
To make successful writing it must be unique and special to show and get more attention, it’s common to read one story and then read another and sound similar or have same writing styles, creativity plays a huge role in a piece of writing. Throughout my life I have done a lot of writing, I mean people write things every day from notes in class to full-on stories.
From all the writing I have done I still think I need a lot of practice to become a very good writer, I don’t normally think of myself as a writer, but in reality, we all are writers and are very good at writing, however as a writer I wish to become better and make really successful writing. Writing could mean a lot to different people but here’s some key terms that I think are great and define writing very well.
Key terms:
• Used to express your ideas or/and opinions
• It tells a story
• It’s interesting, unique and creative
• It has a meaning to the reader and to you
• It should be enjoyable to read
There is so much to learn about writing, this text helped me look at the different audience that will read the text, as well help determine who will be reading the text and the different understanding of the text. Yes, this text is successful based on my criteria. This text has a good story behind it, the writer expressed their opinion and idea, it has meaning also it was enjoyable to read. If I had to revise my list, I wouldn’t want to, because it lists a lot of good points to consider when writing a text. I think this list makes good writing if you touch on every point of the list.
