Genre is a big part of this class, we have read a lot of articles about it. After reading and looking at what other authors say about genre, I have learned a lot about genre. I would describe it as the category that the writing fits in with other similar ones, it gives readers an idea to what to expect from the writing. This will be used in my paper to aim towards an audience and use genres to find the readers that are interested in such work.

I agree with nick.. I think you can discuss more about genre. I agree with whatever you have stated, but you can add more to it, since genre can be very broad.
